Have you seen the 90's film Pulp Fiction, which was 'ground-breaking' and won 69 awards?
I like it, but only since watching it a second time, years later.
The first time I didn’t. Why? Because a friend of ours loved it so much he kept insisting that we should go see it too. He was so eager it got irritating. Looking back, this neediness was off-putting enough that I had subconsciously decided it was rubbish before it even started.
Ahh, being petty can be so satisfying. And tempting too.
