For a while now I have been rating my days 1-10. They seem to fluctuate daily and also monthly. The graph reminds me a bit of share prices.
Looking back every now and then is pretty helpful. For example, when I feel great and reckon I have it all figured out it can be sobering. And when I feel low and reckon that the world has always been against me it can also be sobering.
Rating Days is a super interesting and insightful exercise- highly recommend. I use an app called iMoodJournal.
