5# Filter of Perception
Experience is always filtered through my perception...which is VERY strong.
If I am in a good mood the person ignoring me is 'probably busy'. If I am in a bad mood they are "%£@$%€"
How can I recognise the filter though, when it is all I see? I need to step out, ie observe my thoughts and actions at the same time they are happening. This is called meta-cognitive awareness and certain mindfulness practices can develop it.
I wonder how being more aware of my Filter of Perception could help with work and life at home...
