This week I realised that nearly all my chronic stress stems from trying to control my son’s life.
Typically, at a very young age a parent controls everything, at a grown-up age nothing and I’m living the in-between part. Left unchecked he would eat only sweets, be on X-Box 24/7 etc… so “letting go” is not an option.
I guess the only thing in my control is to adapt my perspective.
It is bloody hard though.
How can I turn a draining stress into a nourishing one?
Any thoughts?
